Caring for India's Health

Covid-19 has exposed the shortcomings of India’s healthcare system. This series explores the regional disparities within the public sector, and how the private sector remains inaccessible for most. And while India is a global supplier of generic drugs, it remains highly dependent on imports from China for many ingredients. Nonetheless, this might be India and Europe's chance to work together to increase the resilience of their healthcare systems and pharmaceutical industries.
